You may have lived in New Orleans for decades, but every once in awhile you take a Sunday morning drive to the French Quarter. You even suck it up and pay for parking because once in a blue moon it's ok to be a tourist in your home town. Except for one thing - instead of waiting out the line at Cafe du Monde, you go to French Truck and get yourself a nice cafe au lait to sip as you walk along Jackson Square, soaking up rainy day vibes.
The best thing about coffee? It's just as good for your skin as it is for your soul. While caffeine may stimulate us internally, it calms our skin when applied externally, thanks to its many antioxidants. It's a rich source of vitamin B3, and reduces redness. On top of all that, coffee's anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties combine with the exfoliating coffee grounds to make it an anti-acne warrior.
Our cafe au lait scrub is infused with vanilla and is perfect for use on red, aging, and sunspotted skin. However, it is not recommended for use on extremely fragile skin due to its extra exfoliating power.
Café au Lait Facial
Crescent City Sugars are designed to be used in your daily shower, bath, or over your sink. We recommend using it once in the morning, and once at night!
Before each use, give your sugars a little stir with your fingers (this also helps keep your hands luxuriously smooth), apply a dollop generously to wet skin, and gently scrub. When the sugars have dissolved, rinse with water and pat dry with a towel.
Once you start using your first jar of our product, you shouldn't need any other cleanser, makeup remover, toner, moisturizer, or lotion.
